Has your landlord registered your apartment building or rental home with the City of Omaha? By law, every landlord in Omaha MUST register their property so that it can be inspected by city code. These inspections take place once every 10 years.
To check if your home is registered, visit the city’s website and type your address in the search bar on the map.
If your apartment or rental house is NOT showing up on the map, you can anonymously inform City Code by filling out this form on their website. City Code will then reach out to your landlord and tell them that they have to register.
